CARE AND USE

For everyday care:

  • Wash with mild soap and a soft sponge.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or steel wool.

To maintain the shine:

  • Use our P•TAL x Happi Planet de-oxidising cleaning solution or a natural homemade scrub (atta + salt + lemon).
  • Dry thoroughly after each wash to prevent watermarks.

  • 1. Is it Non-Stick?
    Yes, the tin coating on the lagan makes them non-stick and easy cookware.

  • 2. Is it safe to cook all types of food? 
    Lagaan with tin coating is absolutely safe and can be used to cook all types of food. However, you may not require Kalai for deep frying since fats do not react with brass.

  • 3. When will I have to get the tin  (kalai) coating done again on the product?
    It entirely depends on your utility. If you have a higher utility, you might have to finish it sooner.

  • Since brass and copper are good conductors of heat, they help you to save gas. They are a smart step towards sustainability
  • Do not leave the Brass Lagan on gas without oil as it might melt the Kalai, leading to quick fading of the coating.
